Our Ministries . . .
Christian Discipleship -- Our Christian Education Program provides unique education and training opportunities through workshops and seminars to equip church members to grow in discipleship and personal ministry; to teach Christian theology and Christian doctrine, Christian ethics, Christian history, and church polity and organization; to equip leaders for service; and to enable all ministries of the church to work together cooperatively and collectively. |
The Women's Ministry -- Our Women's Ministry educates, supports, and prepares the older women, young women, and girls to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—that the older women set an example for the younger women in their behavior as becoming to holiness; that they teach the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, home makers, good, obedient to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be blasphemed (Titus 2:3-5). |
The Men's Ministry -- Our Men's Ministry educates, supports, and prepares the older men, young men, and boys to be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience, and in all things, showing themselves to be a pattern of good work; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of the men of this church (Titus 2:2, 6-7). |
Evangelism and Outreach -- Our desire is to carry Christ to the world through whatever means possible. With a holistic approach, we have dedicated disciples on a mission for Christ ministry to those in physical and spiritual need. Our focus in this ministry is on the unsaved and non-believers to inspire them to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ through word, deed, and example. |
Youth Ministry -- Our desire is teach by word and deed the gospel of Christ to inspire all youth to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Under the theme Raged for Christ, our youth and youth leaders are on a mission to reach young people near and far for Christ and to rob the enemy from destroying our children. While there are many fun activities, everything we do is to focus and refocus youth on Christ and to live for Christ. |
Seniors Ministry -- This is a special team ministry for our senior citizens that allows for personal grow and development, service, and fellowship. These are our GEMS—God’s Enlightening Ministry for Seniors. The goal of the GEMS’ Ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to continue to enlighten the lives of this special group using two scriptures to focus the ministry. Psalm 18:28 says “For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness” and Ephesians 1:18 says “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints…" |
Sources of Strength (SOS) -- This is a unique ministry designed to help those recovering from alcohol or drug addictions and those who are seeking restoration through Christ. Unfortunately there are hundreds of people that have been living under a cloud of guilt thinking that what they have done is beyond God’s capacity to forgive. Our desire is through Biblical teaching, love, and example to show others the truth of God’s restoring love that is available to all. Meetings are held in a manner to protect your confidentiality and anonymity. |
